On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Friends of the Red River National Wildlife Refuge, thank you for supporting our organization by becoming a member. Your membership dues will be used by the Friends to support our work on behalf of the Red River National Wildlife Refuge.
Memberships are on a calendar year basis and are renewable each January 1. If you join between October 1 and December 31, your membership will not expire until December 31 of the following year. For example, if you join on October 1, 2016, your membership does not expire until December 31, 2017. Life memberships do not expire.
Memberships may be renewed online, by visiting the Friends’ Nature Store in the Red River NWR Visitor Center, or by downloading a membership application and mailing to the address on the application.
Members receive a 10% discount on items purchased in the Nature Store, so stop by soon. Ask for your complimentary Friends pin, which is free for members and bears the logo of the Friends of Red River. Our store is staffed by volunteers and hours of operation are dependent on volunteer availability, so you may want to call the Refuge at (318) 742-1219 to verify the store is open before coming.
Meetings are held on the second Monday of every month except December in the Environmental Education Center at the Red River National Wildlife Refuge Headquarters, 150 Eagle Bend Point, Bossier City, Louisiana 71112. Come join us for social and refreshments at 6:15 p.m. followed by the meeting and program at 6:30 p.m. The meetings are free and open to the public. Children accompanied by an adult are welcome.
Sincerely,
Zac Burson,
President
