Wednesday thru Friday – 12pm to 4pm

Saturday – 9am to 12pm

Sunday – 1pm to 5pm

Hours may vary depending on volunteer availability.

The Nature Store is located inside the Red River National Wildlife Refuge Headquarters Building. The store offers a variety of education material for all ages, nature guides, mugs, t-shirts, hats and more. Come see our friendly and knowledgeable volunteers at the Friends of the Red River Refuge Nature Store.

Our mission is to be an advocate for the Red River NWR by promoting and participating in the conservation, enhancement, and appreciation of our native wildlife communities through education, fund raising, development of partnerships, and development of onsite projects for volunteers.

We are a nongovernmental, nonprofit organization operating under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and a Memorandum of Agreement with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. We are an affiliate member of the National Wildlife Refuge Association .
