Bird Feeding Basics Workshop

Bird Feeding Basics Workshop

Winter can be a challenging time for wildlife and bird feeding can be an excellent way to help birds while also observing wildlife in your own backyard.  But, there are a few things you should know if you are going to feed birds.
To help you get ready for the Great Backyard Bird Count, Ranger Terri is leading a free, mini-workshop on Sunday, February 12 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.  Attendees will learn to identify birds and learn about bird feeders and bird seed.

This mini-workshop will be meeting in the Education Building at Red River National Wildlife Refuge located off the Arthur Ray Teague Parkway just south of the Jimmie Davis Bridge.  The address is: 150 Eagle Bend Point, Bossier City, LA 71112.
